MERRY XMAS and HAPPY NEW YEAR...i may not be updated my blog very often between xmas eve and new year...please don't abandon me~~~hope this year, you have more realistic new year resolutions, stay young and beautiful and be happy always!!!
1st, when i was sitting on the i-thought-they-vaccummed-carpet and i found someone's hairband on the floor and a lot of dust at the edge...i concluded, well, they didnt vaccum the room..oh well, that was ok since i didnt sleep on the floor...so let it go...
When i was about to go to sleep...i had such a SHOCK that i...i...i...finally knew the meaning of the power of fate or 有缘千里来相逢...i was trying to arrange the big big pillows lying on the bed to make them into a fort...when i saw this little hairy creature at the edge of my bed!!! talking about such a BIG bed and at the edge of the bed, i still spot it..now, u know what's fate and what's 缘分? it come back and haunt me like 3yrs + 3 mths ago!!! at that time, when i spot it, i was stunt for a moment...at the first glance, i wished it wasnt what i thought it was, so i bent down and took a close look and i felt like the clock stopped for 5 mins...IT WAS WHAT I THOUGHT IT WAS and IT HAD HAIR ON IT!!!! 
crap...my first thought was...ask the housekeeping to come..but it was almost 12am...and i used up all the towels...oh no..i didnt know what to do..now, i wasnt sure if the housekeeping actually changed the bed...was it "leftover" from the previous guest? they didnt change my bed sheet? they just folded and put everything in the right place? or was it belong to the housekeeper? mayb when she was folding, it just decided to deposit itself on the bed? which one was it? i wish it was the latter~~~but i didnt have an answer...my heart was racing and i felt unsecured...so in the end, i decided to sleep the edge of the other side of the bed!!! and you guessed it right, for the WHOLE night, i didnt sleep well and i didnt use any pillows...i kept thinking about the hairy creature...and there could be more out there!!!
The next day, i put the "change-my-sheet" card on the bed....hopefully, the housekeeper didnt take the shortcut and just folded everything again!!! is it my 心理作用? i doubt it...
to get ready for the xmas, i have specially insert some nice xmas songs and of coz nice new songs i heard from MTV to make it more xmasly~~~
it's been a LOOooong 3 weeks and pressuring trip for me....let me update you on what i had done for the past 3 weeks:
aaahhh...those are basically what i had accomplished for the past 3 weeks...didnt seem like a lot of points but oh BOY...it was hell and one point above consists of millions of stuff and effort (blood and tears)...i'm glad it's finally over...i'm so looking fwd to xmas holidays now~~~

This is my 2009 birthday card from afar~~~i really really LOVE this card coz it's handmade, unique and very very beautiful~~~i can see that there is a lot of effort, hardwork and hardship put in creating such a wonderful gift :') thanks for remembering my birthday....i was really really surprised when i received it...don't you just think it's beautiful? i love love love love it...thanks for much..... ^^ i will be waiting for my valentine's card, xmas card, chinese new year card, hari raya card, national day card, my brother's bday card, my wedding card, my new born card, my next year birthday card, and the year after next, and the year after and after and after...hehehee.... ^^

can you believe how foggy kuching was the day i left? it was really beautiful la~~~ i took a quick video coz i have never seen such beautiful scenery..for some reasons, i'm in love with fog/midst...real fog that is...i don like it when it's smoky when our neighbour country starts burning their bushes...it smells...anyway, hope i didnt make you guys dizzy..just wanted to share the video aaaannnnddd, the picture i took on the plane...nice ho? aaahhh...kch is so beaaaaUUuuutiful
We went to the famous lakeside of wuxi for dinner....it was an exotic place...and i "treated" my colleagues...hahaha...they bought me a black forest cake from the hotel...it tasted really GOOD...we finished the whole cake despite the delicious set dinner we ordered!!! now you could imagine how extravagant my bday in wuxi could be...hehehehe....here are some pics but my "brilliant" colleague took a photo WITHOUT my cake... :)

we have a dog at home~~~ 2 yrs after death of husky....we name him "tiger" coz we want him to ROAR like a tiger....it was a small small little puppy when jenn got him...only a few days old when some unethical citizen decided they couldnt afford the puppies, put them in a box and left them outside MBKS!!! imagine a few new born puppies, who had not even taste the milk of their mum were thrown out in the cold, at night?! luckily a passerby was kind enough to pick them up and took care of them...from a small tiny teeny puppy 3 months ago become a bigger doggie today....i love and hate tiger coz he is extremely naughty...for some reasons, he loves to lick people's feet!! i felt that he is more like a cat than a dog coz he tries to catch balls, tries to play with you when you are walking, jumps up and down when you fake holding a ball in your hand...anything but doggie...but i love him for who he is...he's really adorable and i have to say, i kinda miss him now~~~
I like him constantly wagging his tail~~~~he looks like a big fat rat...oh btw, when i was in bkk few months back and tiger was still very small...i saw a rat running in the street and i actually thought it looked like tiger.... baby tiger = street rat...haha...
tiger is very discipline...he knows he's not allowed in the house...so he doesnt dare to do it...but he could be a wild dog when he was let out the cage....OMG OMG...you should see him...he looked lika a dog that just came out of prison...well...think of it this way, if u were being locked in a small cage with no tv, no internet and computers, how would you feel??? hehehe

my last post was about the beginning of my vacation...this post is about the end of my vacation....overall, my vacation was really really good and i truly enjoyed my days off...until i already forgot where i was...hahaha...people told me i forgot because i travelled too much...to me, i tend to remember where i am when im on business trips (i have never forgotten where i am at all when im on business trips!!!) WHY? because i am always stress when im on business trip, constantly doing a mental check that i have done everything that i need to do for WORK...there, how could i forget?! but when im on vacation, i relax my mind...no mental check, no stress, no to-do list, no meetings (or less), no work...just play play play, eat eat eat, sleep sleep sleep...i wish my life could be that simple..hahaha...
now busy with conference calls again...at NIGHT time...just finished a call with my boss...siggghhh..1030pm oledy.... :'( i miss my vacation la

Sorry guys, i really tried...i really did...
The other day, i met a friend for dinner near my place....it was raining, dark and very wet...we were happy having some hot wontan noodles at this time...it warmed our hands and feet and also our spirit...not sure if it was the noodle or what, my friend seemed to be a bit high...i guess it must be "酒不醉人，人自醉" (direct translation: one doesn't get drunk because of alcohol. one gets drunk because of his mind)...well, while we were thinking what to do so that we could stimulate our digestive system given the dinner was a bit late....while two of us were in our thoughts, suddenly my friend blurted out in Mandarin (BTW, my friend is a Hong Konger): "要不我们去上床吧?" ..i was shocked for a while
coz that was a bit too direct...*BLUSH* My friend went on for a few times before i responsed..and said: "hmmm...do you think that's a good idea? i guess you wanted to say 要不我们去商场吧"....yup, that's exactly what was meant...we both laughed so hard that i almost roll on the floor laughing (AKA "ROFL")....that's funny...
now, that remind me of another story...when i first came to HK, i was out with a hong konger colleague and she told me that her mandarin wasnt very accurate...i thought it was ok...so she told me a story...she said one fine day at a shopping mall...a mainland chinese came to her and asked for direction...she said she was nice enough to tell him the direction but the guy didnt thank her at all before he walked away, and even gave her a mean look..she told me the chinese guy was really rude...i went, oh, that was rude...you were kind enough to tell him...then she said..ya, she said she is not going to help them anymore...so i said where did he wanna go? she said: well, he was looking for a shop so ï told him 你下流， 你下流"...my face went white and asked her why she scolded him...she looked innocent and said she didnt...she said in english that she was asking him to go downstairs!!! i laughed so hard until i almost roll on the floor..APALAH...it should be 你下楼， 你下楼!!!! so instead of asking him to go downstairs, she said to him: "you are a shrewd"

i seriously need to take a LOOooong vacation to relax...take my mind off work...or else, i would die of exhaustion!!!
Finally, my Switzerland tour is ending soon..i'm going to fly to Shanghai tomorrow...it's gonna be a LOoooong flight~~~i really enjoyed myself in Switzerland...the view, the air, the people, the food, the weather...everything except for the prices is really fabulous....i especially like the surrounding...quiet, peaceful, relax :) the thing is eat here the most is CHEESE...yup, what i eat is what i become...hahaha...i kinda miss rice though....rice with Cheese? haha...how innovative is that? EVIAN water here is darn cheap...in HK, a small bottle cost HKD30 and here, 1 litre is only CHF1...how could i resist that???!!! hehehe...Switzerland is very very big and to take pictures to share with you guys is a lot of work..coz i dono where to begin...so to not disappoint my friends, i use my innovation again...i took VIDEO of the view...we were driving from another town to Zurich on Friday...and the view was simply breathtakingly beautiful...greens everywhere and you notice a lot of houses on the land and they are far apart....how i wish i could stay at a place like this....for a while.. :)
i have to say, i kinda miss my home in HK...and wish i could stay a bit longer there...yup, i know, i never had such feeling before...i guess i just don't like US that much :( ...no offence there, just my personal preference...i cant see my home until 5 weeks later!!! :'(
last day in bangkok..just being interesting by posting a thai version of the blogger page...hehehe...i know, this is just 无聊。。。哈哈哈...i thought the page looks interesting with thai...i will miss bangkok..the food, the cheap stuff, the luxury of the hotel, the view...everything :( bye bye

One day after lunch, we bought some fresh juice to take away...in singapore, cups are not very popular, they use plastic bags for any kinds of drinks, hot or cold, all go in the bags...as illustrates below (sorry about my poor drawing :p i tried to find a decent pic from google but couldnt...hey, at least i tried ><)
well...each of us bought a drink each that day...and guy 2 thought he didnt have a straw for his drink coz it was kinda transparent...so genius at work now...i asked my colleagues what they would do if they really didn't have straw....my initial guess for miss birdie was that she would just not drink (given her previous record in not taking the delicious crab)....and my other guess for guy 2 was that he would come up with complicated procedures to try to solve the problem...not sure abt miss petite though...here's the results:
me: I would cut the edge of the bag and finish in one go~~~
Guy 2: he would make a hole at the edge of the bag and drink from it (surprisingly simple) but what he would do is, he knew he wouldnt be able to finish drinking, so he would tie the open edge with the string for future drink (aaahhh, now he's getting complicated)
Miss birdie: she would do the same as me (surprisingly not so lazy this time given such simple problem)
Miss petite: she would hang the string on both of her ears and scoop the bag up to reach the juice (so creative..now i know her better...i thought this would be guy 2's approach)
Hahaha, im beginning to like this kind of analysis and really think it's accurate..so much for the crab eating...i didnt know i could learn so much..here's another analysis from guy 2....
Guy 2's analysis of miss petite and miss birdie:
Case study: if a vase is falling off from a table, what would you do?
Miss birdie would just point at the vase and go "AAAHHhhh" and let it fall and break
Miss Petite: she would do something creative like a somersault before catching the vase...hahaha
On our last day in singapore, miss birdie told me about her not getting any free nights for her stay in the hotel..all of us got it except for her...and she told me she asked the front desk but they were not prepared to help her on this so miss birdie was gonna just let it go...i looked at her with BIG eyes...and said, no, you should fight for it and get what you deserved...i gave her all the methods and tips on how to fight for her rights...same from guy 2 and miss petite...Miss birdie was a bit scared and said slowly and softly: "aaahhh, actually this kind of things are always taken care by my mum and i don't want to have anything to do with it" ~~~there, the reason why miss birdie didnt take the last piece of crab (coz her mum was not around to take the meat out for her, the reason why we think miss birdie won't catch the vase if it falls~~~coz it's not her business and her mum is not around, the reason why she lets her benefits go down the drain~~~ah, coz her mum is not around to scold the person....) there are still a lot of lose of benefits for miss birdie that i didnt mention....oh well..in conclusion, she's just lazzzzzZZzzzzyyyyy
