In-terest-ing Signboards

Was in Taipei for the weekend...i have to say, i had the time of my life :) my tummy is full of Junk now...yuppppp, i had plentiful of junk food over there....臭豆腐 (who can miss this???)， 牛舌饼， O仔煎 (yummy, sticky sticky somemore)， 台北珍珠奶茶，烧仙草， 卦包， 台湾香肠， 爱玉冰，青蛙下蛋， 香脆鸡排， 阿宗面线，甜不辣， etc etc etc...haven't had a proper meal for 3 days!!!! heheh...it was fun, fuN, FUN!!! one thing i noted abt taiwan is the funny and creative signboards they have...ahaha..and i took pics of some of them..very the interesting....oh yeah, i also met 容祖儿at hk airport...somemore, face to face ler..she looks better in person and without her make up...she had her big fly-like sunglasses on...i guess her intention was to avoid crowd...but with tat kind of sunglasses, it actually attracted my attention...well, it was big enough to cover her face...i still recognise her though? one wonders how tat is possible...hehehe..let me tell u why~~~ she has BIG LIPS...i mean...really really huge :) these are SOME of the funny signboards i came across....didnt have time to take more coz i was busy checking out street food...yum yum....hey, one must think a bit 歪歪in order to find these signboards funny~~~ oh yeah, when i was strolling in one of the shops in xi men ding, i actually got requested by one of the shows to squeeze a rubber chicken for their show....if u see a weird chicken making noise on tv, tat'd be my contribution...hehhehehe (mayb they ran out of names...咕咕鸡屋？where's the bird house then? ahahahhahah..creativeeeEEeeeee) (鸡排？奶奶? what are they thinking???) (this is a saloon at 西门町。。乱剪？？ sounds scary)

Burnt~~~

Had BBQ last sunday with my colleagues....it was really humid and hot tat day...really didnt feel like going...instead of bbq'ing the chicken wings, the steak etc etc, i would be bbq'ed 1st :p some of my colleagues haven't seen the traditional way of bbq'ing, ie using charcoal...my colleagues from shanghai and HK are like "sua gu" => 乡巴佬。They couldnt believe tat we bbq like the stone age ppl :p Luckily we had a few MACHO guys to help with the fire or else, we would really eat like cave ppl, ie each raw food...hehehe...my colleague and i are a bit burnt after being the main chef for the entire night...we tried new recipe...ie SATAY SAUCE on BLACK PEPPER STEAK....suprisingly it tasted good....here are some pics of us looking radiant...or should i say "burnt"...heheehh

Hub

WALAU (I have to act like local :p)..so many of my friends are coming to Singapore...For HK, it's well known as the asia financial hub, but for me, Singapore is like a FRIENDS hub for me...hahahha...my friend frm hk is coming to sg for work on sunday and my ex colleague is coming on sunday also....my friends from Australia just returned to singapore to work and I bumped into a long lost friend in Kenyalang just before i came to Singapore the other day....busy busy busy...busy with work (hey, i work at most of the nights in hotel...i tot life shld be better after EY, but....), busy accompanying family (they are my precious)....i have no time for shopping, no time to meet up with friends...one wonders what is really there in my life hor? oh oh, out of topic...hahahah....i will fully utilise the hub to meet up with friends and family as much as possible...work? do it during the 8 hrs over the 5 days lah...hehehehe

Beautiful Kuching

Kuching is a beautiful & peaceful place...it has beautiful scenery, beautiful sky, good food, beautiful ppl (ie me), fresh air, u name it, u got it...went to petra jaya, 对面港 for dinner...a simple malay kampung with a beautiful restaurant...we picked a table with the perfect view, having our perfect meal, having our perfect conversation, enjoying each other's companionship~~~ this is what i called heaven~~~ I cant remember the name of the restaurant, but we call it "little Bali"...hehehe...

Uncontrollable Husky

(she knows she looks cute and tat everyone loves her) Husky is a crazy puppy...crazy in a good way...she wags her tail uncontrollably, licks ur toes, jumps on you, play with you..she just won't stop being "happy" and "active" when she sees u...she's hyperactive...she's cute though and the only time i could take her pic is when i walked to the food tray...when i stand there, she will come and sit near me quietly, anticipating something :) oooh, i miss her soOOOoo much...by the time i go bek, she will be a big doggie already...here are her pics (this is her when she's sleeping....SShhhh, don wake her up or she will start to go "crazy" again...all my friends love her..she's a lovable puppy) (isn't she adorable? she can look so innocent and melt ur heart...feel like hugging her) (Jane: tsk tsk tsk, husky, SIT!!)

Laksa at Chong Choon

Went bek to kuching last weekend....and i never miss the chance of eating my favourite food at my favourite kopitiam...i feel like i'm in the comedy show long long time ago where everybody knows u..yup, "CHEERS"...you guessed it, my favourite food is LAKSA at CHONG CHOON 泉舂茶室。。。my friends think i'm a laksa freak..i especially love the Teh C peng (三色茶）made by ah xiang. good job mate. You will have my support no matter what...oh yeah, i love the cha kueh as well..yummy....just realised that i forgot to take the pic of the shop and the owner..nvm, 来日方长, i will do it the next time i go bek....oh, for the record, i had laksa for a week one time i was back home :p (My favourite LAKSA...i couldnt have enough!!!) Chap goh meh

Today is CHAP GOH MEh already...元宵夜. Soon, CNY will be officially over...sad :( i'm currently sitting at the Coffee Bean at airport writing my blog, with sad emotion coz this time will be the final time i could return to kuching for weekend...and at the same time, it's the final day of CNY...not sure why i feel sad....mayb it's because the feeling of anticipation is over and once again, i have no motivation and nothing to look forward to....tonight, the atmosphere in kuching is similar to the atmosphere on CNY Eve....fireworks and firecrackers started since 7pm and my flight is at 9pm...so i missed the fun as i have to be at the airport early.... By the time i come back to kch (which i dono when), husky will be a grown doggie already....well... gotta go...boarding...
