Where do i look like i come from?

Well...i walked around Daegu in Korea today...i went to a very nice temple today and spent quite sometime there...i felt cleansed now...hahaha...and i was really hungry after such long time at the temple...so i decided to find something nice in the city for dinner...so i walked and walked and walked...there were mountains of people gathered in the city centre getting ready to cheer for Korea in worldcup...the city was RED..im sure from the satelite, it would look like daegu city is bleeding..hahaha...why? because everyone was wearing red..the colour for korea in worldcup....anyway..side tracked liao...so i found this nice italian restaurant in the busy streest of daegu..the restaurant appeared to be simple and peaceful..so i decided to go in and have a try....as usual, nobody in korea speaks english...so i used my body language...and said whatever as best as i could...actually, it was just to say..."one person please"....when i settled down...a very good looking waiter came...spoke to me in simple english...i was so touched :') well, the menu was in english and italian and no pics...so he took the time to go through the menu with me...it was kinda nice...well...i still didnt know what to order since he just explained...these are tomato pasta, these are cream pasta, these are salad, these are risotto etc...so i looked at him blankly...and he said, well, i like this one...i just went for it...had a nice and relaxing dinner....turned out, the waiter was also the cook!!! it was great stuff...he was young, good looking and talented...wahh...fabulous combination...anyway, he asked me where i came from...and was shocked to learn that i am NOT korean...he said i really look like korean.... >< ....he is not the only one saying that...i remember when i was in sydney airport last time and one korea spoke to me in korean and one japanese spoke to me in japanse...then this time when i came here...everybody thought i am korean...and my colleagues thought i look like korean...well, i just hope i looked like the pretty korean after plastic surgery!!! like below...hehehe... \(^^)/ last year, after spending x weeks in korea...the day i returned to my office in hk..my hk colleagues looked at me strangely and asked if i had done plastic surgery in korea?! ????? -> these are what was in my mind at that time....

BTW, when i was in kuching last time...i was stopped by police to examine my ID card and when i was shopping in Everise, the sales girl asked me where i am from...i said with a frown...hmmm...kuching?! she was surprised and said she thought i am from China...AKA 小龙女....i was.....SPEECHLESS....should i be happy or not?

Jane, may be you should stay longer in Korea. When you come back to HK you will look alike as the photo.\(^v^)/
