Was in busan one weekend.....that's was back in april...i didn't remember i have this thought when i first visited korea in 2007 but then, this time, i noticed something unique about korea when i was in busan....busan is a really nice place..full of mountains and oceans, buildings and also kimchi~~~i ventured around the city for two days and checking destination to visit online...when i was doing my research and searching for places to visit and how to get about, i noticed that busan has a lot of names is something something dong (ie xx洞 or xx cave)..a lot of BIG question marks appearred on my head...why why why? why full of holes? (for those who don't read chinese, dong in chinese means hole as well)...i don't get it...so last week i was in seoul...again, i travelled around and enjoyed reading the map to get to know seoul better...especially when i was bored on the subway for 30 mins..so i tend to read alot :p and guess what i found...the names are full of holes too~~~~~each and every area starts with a name and end with dong...again, i don't know why koreans like dong so much...mayb dong in korean is equivalent to "road", "street" in english? or mayb it's just sounds better..whichever it is, i just think korea is too Hole-LY....hehe....feel free to enlarge the picture to find a place without HOLE for me :)
