I wanna be all stretched out~~~

i just bought myself a yoga book that comes with a free DVD to teach me how to STTttrreettchhh~~~ hehe...this time, i'm serious abt being stretched, i went to mongkok and bought myself a yoga mat!!! now, that shows how serious I am this time....i haven't done any yoga in HK...i don want to knock over anything...imagine myself doing a in my room....*Thinking* no, i wont be able to do that in my room...so i tot i might as well bring my dvd with me when i travel~~~

I remember i did yoga TWICE back home..yup, you heard me right, only TWICE...i quite enjoyed it until my friends, whom i thanked for my decision to quit, kept laughing at me...they said i looked like a MOSQUITO when i bent and tried to touch my feet with my hands. Arms too long and legs even longer...^^ and once, i was doing yoga near the door (P/s: the yoga room was on 1st floor), my friends were nice enough to ask me to watch out, or else i would be rolling down the stairs like a potato :') thanks friends, for being so kind....

here are my yoga tools~~

安息吧,our dearest Husky

SOB SOB, i just cried...my mum called me just a while ago to deliver an extremely bad news...Husky is dead!!!! i was so shocked and speechless!!! some bastard just ran over her and left her to die there...jenn ran over to take her to the vet but it was already too late...sigh...life is really unpredictable....i was planning to go bek to see her and i do miss her, but then i couldnt make it in time....so sad...my mum was crying just now too...husky had been her companion when she was doing gardening and when she was sweeping, husky would come and play with her broom...and now, she's gone???!!! How could i accept the fact??? As for jenn, when she came home, there was always someone welcoming her bek, jumping up and down, wagging her tail and looking so happy...and she was so naughty and so adorable at the same time that u just dono to hate her or to love her...and when jenn watched tv, she would lie beside her to accompany her....and she barked at ppl too....she was such as nice companion....and now..she's gone???? i still remember how she wagged her cute little tail and jumped up and down when we first met....it was love at 1st sigh....i loved the doggie....im crying as im writing this...sigh....my house wont be the same without her presence :'( 安息吧,our dearest Husky In remembrance of husky:

back to HK

finally back in HK....i have been looking fwd to returning HK since x days...was so sick a few days ago and finally today is the day....i thought nothing could stop me today from coming bek...but then..... weather in hk has been pretty unstable recently...heavy rains and strong wind...i thought it has a few days to get over it...WHO KNOWS??? well, it was the worst today coz today is the day the strongest cyclone took effect!!!! today was BLACK friday!!! The TWO years im in hk, never has there been any tropical cyclone 8 being hoisted, but today, the day i returned to HK, was the day it hoisted...how unlucky... :( (FYI, 8 = no outdoor activity, meaning no need to go to work). i have always prayed for 8 but usually, it just hoisted 3 or 6...my prayer was never answered...BUT..... our plane was delayed for one hour and we were stucked in the plane, waiting for clearance weather to fly or stay...finally, after xxx mins of dozing off in the plane, when i woke up, i just realised tat we were still on the ground ;( it was very sunny and bright in QD, the sky was so bright....my heart was singing along with it...but after a while, the sky turned dark...gloomy~~and tat was when i know we are entering THE ZONE.... Reached HK @630pm...the moment we stepped out of the plane to take the bus, i could feel the strong wind and heavy raindrops....i thought, well, it isnt tat bad...the worst thing is, i spent 2 hours staying in line, to wait for a taxi to go home...sigh...i only reached home at 9pm...EXHAUSTED..but am glad tat im finally home...AAAHhh..HOME SWEET HOME

my gifts from shangrila hotel :)

I am collecting toys from shangrila...everytime i check in, i got a piggie soft toy from the hotel...and one day, i received another soft toy..this time, it's not a pig but a pink bear...i was sooOOoo happy....and today, i found out the reasons...piggies are given to members of the hotel and bears are given if your room is clean~~~i got TWO (^^)y (BTW, my room is always clean)
One day i returned to hotel from work, feeling so exhausted...the moment i opened the door, i felt like i just returned home...water was still in the process of boiling...and i got a sweet little note from the housekeeping...i'm so touched...here's the sweet note :) i drank the water of coz :)

my trip to Dalian

Before I came to Dalian, I was told tat it is similar to Qingdao except that it doesn’t have a mountain….after 45 mins of plane ride, I saw Dalian on plane…it’s not as big as QD but not small either….the airport is very nice… J I took a taxi to the hotel, wow, nice city too…it’s a mixed of Chinese + Russian = dalian ;) the beach is much much nicer than QD, at least it’s full of greens….gosh, I like it so much coz it reminds me so much of santubong in kuching, but much greener and nicer…it’s very European with European houses on such big area of green land :) pic 1: Big roundabout in dalian..surroundings are all russian buildings Pic 2: russian building Pic 3: Banchui dao (translate to chinese: hammer island) Pic 4: On my way to the beach...greenies It was really hot tat day and we were not allowed to go in by car, so I had to walk 30 mins from the gate to the beach…it was worth it…after that, I went to the shopping centres in dalian…well, it’s no different from any shopping areas around the world….but I bought my favourite book there…YAY….\(^^)/ I bought my dinner, AKA KFC (ooohhhh~~~how I miss fast food) to a really big park called 海星公园 and had my little picnic there..it’s a nice big park with beach as well with mini size amusing park…I didn’t stay there long coz on my way to the park, I saw something even more interesting~~~ yup, the 2007 Dalian Beer Festival ;) I walked 30 mins from the park to that place!! It reminds me of Kuching Festival (how I miss it as well, I remember I used to visit it every day after work…hahhaha…my friends will sure remember coz they kept complaining at how fanatic I was abt the festival~~ :p) it’s similar except that it is bigger and it has every beer brand from around the world….too bad I already had my very normal dinner, I only managed to have a coconut….there were performances, BBQ stuff, beers of coz, all kinds of desserts, food from around china etc etc….it was fantastic….my clients were telling me that the beer fest in QIngdao will be held in 4 weeks time, and I have already been to one 4 weeks before…YAY l(^^)l (this is the entrance of the beer festival) One thing about Dalian that I don like -> you need to pay to get in…RMB20 to go to the beach, RMB10 to go in the beer festival (and you need to pay to get food and drinks)…oh, the park is free though….and it was very crowded too…if you know what I mean :p doesn's this look like new york city? it's my scenery from my hotel window :)

home sweet home

Been away from Home (well, not really my home) for more than 5 weeks….im a bit sick of Qingdao already…well, eventhough it has beaches, mountain, good food, good hotel, I just couldn’t stand waking up at 7am every morning and sit in that lousy bumpy car for 50 mins just to get to office….it’s tiring…and most important of all, I don’t like the hot weather…it was pretty cool for the past 3 weeks, and I could still find a reason to like it :p I guess I just feel like taking a rest….. Can’t wait to leave on Friday :) (more importantly, because can leave after lunch...HOO HOO~~~ (^^)/)

Jane joining the simpson's world :)

ooo, hahaha…simpsons the movie…finally the greatest cartoon is gonna have movie length of laughter and entertainment…after reading jenn's blog, I got myself simpsonised as well…well, I have to say, we are a pair of good looking twins…*BLUSH* :p
(Jane after being simpsonised ^^)

Starbucks Fanz

The green and white sign with an “angel” in the middle, who cant recognize the sign? Haha..well, I do…. everytime I make my trips to starbucks, I will have the same thing over and over (yeah yeah, I know im not very creative, but I just love the drink). I will order caramel macchiato everytime I visit…. There’s a starbucks near my hotel in qingdao, quite often, after dinner, my colleagues prefer to gain weight at haagen daaz and I prefer to gain weight at starbucks….have been visiting so often tat they have recognized me…well, im not tat easily forgotten…hehe…yeah, besides being so nice and kind and friendly, it’s coz of my HEIGHT!!! J I got a free bottle from them..yeah yeah…. Was in Dalian over the weekend last week…I was happy to find a starbucks near my hotel and I have been visiting them 3 times in a roll….i don wanna get addicted to coffee…I have seen how ppl got addicted and it scares me…so I tried to have it not tat often…I broke the rules, I know….how I worried that I would get addicted…anyway, the waiters here are quite friendly…on my last visit, they gave me a free upgrade :)I got the biggest cup of caramel macchiato….so full now…hehehe…. Well, Im gonna cut down on coffee intake after I return to hk..afterall, I still prefer Tea :)
