Jane,
I always stay at Tokyo airport when I'm on transit to switch air planes. Never visited Tokyo yet.
If you have a chance, can you share with me how to go around Tokyo from the airport. I plan on just 2 days sightseeing when I am on transit. Any recommendation on a tour agency that takes one from the airport for sightseeing? We cannot speak Japanese.
hi jesie, i'm not sure what kind of tour agency is available out there...for 2 days, i think you could do quite a lot of stuff...just check into a hotel in shinjuku (the one i stayed is called hotel century..it's the best hotel ever)...just 5 mins from the hotel is the subway station and opposite the hotel, there's a big shopping mall...depending on what u want to do..shopping, go to Ginza, Shibuya or just stay in Shinjuku. For sightseeing, lonely planet suggests imperial palace, Asakusa temple, the fish market...^^ u could find all this info on the web...just google :) i also don speak japanese...u shld be fine..do u read Chinese?
