the start of a terrible trip

As all of you know, i have switched from a pretended-air hostess job to a job which doesnt require me to travel anymore..yes, i agree, it was torturing in the beginning especially when i see my ex-team travelling to nice places, having nice food, stay in nice hotels and best of all, shopping and sight-seeing in different places without having to worry about how much airticket, food, transportation etc costs...all u need to worry about is whether you have enough space to take your purchases back home and whether you have enough money!! yeah, the good old times...

well, after so many months of not travelling so frequently, finally last month, i had the chance to go to Japan...ya, the place that i missed and the last time i went, it was 4 yrs ago~~something happened that made me think why i had so many travel disaster in the past...now i finally know the reason...here's how i know the reasons:

My flight was at 950am...because of how congested traffic was in Shanghai and especially on monday morning, so i decided to go at 7am...and i called taxi to come pick me up...taxi came on time....seem like a good start?! how wrong i was...the taxi driver called me and spoke to me in shanghainese..i kindly told him i didnt understand. when i got on the car, he was a formulae one driver....well...great too coz i was trying to beat the traffic!! when i arrived airport, the taxi driver didnt get off the car to help me unload my luggage like they usually do...instead, after he gave me back my change and sat there like a king. So i quickly took the money and unload my luggage by myself...it's ok, it wasnt that bad...

i arrived airport and tried to find my flight # to check in but it wasnt on the board...and i was told that i was in the wrong terminal...FYI, i checked online the night before which terminal but it didnt mention online..so i assumed it was Terminal two...now i needed to take subway to terminal one because it would take too long to Q up at taxi stand and be stuck in traffic :( looking at the brightside, there was a starbucks in T2 but not in T1...hoo hoo, my latte and bacon sandwich~~but when i was about to pay, the lady told me my RMB20 note was fake!! apalah, that was the $20 from the taxi driver !@#$%^ ..things get worse...i didnt know there was no lunch served on the plane (they only gave me 2 pieces of sushi) and i didnt know it would take that long to go to the hotel..so i ended up having lunch at 4pm...so starved...then, two days later in tokyo, i experienced the worse typhoon in Tokyo in 16 yrs and earthquake on the same day.....how lucky could i be?

so, the reason? ME, me me!!!!!

on the brightside, i got to experienced the worst disaster in Tokyo but i was well and safe. Even though i got the fake note, somehow it got spent without me knowing...
